Beach Cleanups on the Bolivar Peninsula
Join Birds Houston for a special morning of cleaning up the shorelines of the Bolivar Peninsula! Your efforts will provide a clean habitat for our beach-nesting birds! Gloves, trash grabbers, and trash bags will be provided. Please bring your reusable water containers, and we’ll have water on hand for refills.
Cleanup sites include Frenchtown Road, North Jetty, and Bolivar Flats – all important habitats where wading and coastal birds often roost and feed. When trash washes up with the tides, it poses a hazard to these animals and other wildlife. We need your help tidying up this area for our bird friends!
