These 8.8 acres of woods and former pasture are being turned into woods. The property was donated to Birds Houston by Amoco Production Company in 1994. It is named in honor of Steve Gast, who led the High Island Initiative that resulted in Amoco's donation of property to Birds Houston. Open to the public from sunrise to sunset year-round.
